The Role
The Works unit which is responsible for the construction of new and renewal projects and maintenance of civil infrastructure including roads, bridges, drains and footpaths is now seeking a Line Marker to joint their team.
The Line Marker will work as part of a team and undertake general line-marking and maintenance duties in a safe and efficient manner to Council’s assets and the town’s road network, buildings, public facilities and amenities.
The position includes a 9 day working fortnight (fortnightly RDO) and is based at the City’s Adam Street depot in Golden Square where you will travel out to site to service the City of Greater Bendigo area.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have skills and experience in civil construction and/or general road maintenance with demonstrated ability to effectively manage a safe and efficient worksite. You will also have sound communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
On the job training will be available for the successful candidate.

A current drivers licence with Medium Rigid (MR) endorsement is required, with Heavy Rigid (HR) endorsement being highly regarded.
A satisfactory police records check is required for this position.
