The Opportunity
Council has a unique and enticing opportunity for a motivated individual looking to commence their career in local government planning. This full-time role represents an outstanding career opportunity to gain a nationally recognised qualification, whilst gaining practical on the job experience and earning a wage.
You will provide administration support, progress regulatory applications and certificates, and maintain records within the planning department.
This is a term role of two years, whilst you work towards gaining a Diploma in Local Government (Planning) (LGA50120 – 12 units of competency)

About You
We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Para Planner to join our Development & Planning team. You will have a strong administrative background. This role is ideal for someone looking to develop their skills and looking to take the next step in their career.
You will work closely with planning and engineering staff to assist with all development processes. This position provides an excellent opportunity for career growth, with mentorship and experience in a diverse range of planning projects.
