Out of School Care and Vacation Care – Childcare Worker – Casual

A vacancy exists for a casual staff member to join the Leeton Out of School Care and Vacation Care Centre.

Council is seeking applications from highly enthusiastic people to assist with the planning, preparation of activities and care of children during their time at the Centre.

Qualifications & Experience

• The applicants will have strong interpersonal skills and empathy for working with children.

Salary & Conditions

• The hours of work will be as required. The rate of pay is $33.64 per hour with penalty and overtime rates applying for Saturday and Sunday.
• Conditions of employment are in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award.
• The successful applicant will be required to undergo and successfully pass a Functional Assessment which includes a Drug and Alcohol Screening and hearing test.
• They will hold a current Working with Children Check or be prepared to obtain one and must provide documentation of being fully COVID-19 vaccinated.
