We are looking for a proactive and innovative individual with a strong commitment to social justice and community wellbeing. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with excellent operational skills, capable of balancing high-level policy development with on-the-ground program management. You are a natural collaborator, adept at engaging with diverse stakeholders and building effective partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Collaboration: Work with social and urban planners, leading specific priority areas.
• Homelessness & Housing: Develop and implement strategies for homelessness and housing affordability. Collaborate with community organisations and stakeholders.
• City Safety & Wellbeing: Enhance city safety and community wellbeing through strategic planning and programs.
• Diversity & Inclusion: Promote diversity and inclusion within community planning and social programs.
• Operational & Strategic Roles: Balance strategic policy development with operational program management.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with community groups, government bodies, and service providers to build effective partnerships.

Qualifications:

• Experience in social planning, focusing on homelessness, housing solutions, city safety, and community wellbeing.
• Proven track record in promoting diversity and inclusion.
• Strong analytical, strategic planning, and operational management skills.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and partnership-building abilities.
