Projects Officer - Landscaping – Full Time

  • Salary: $102,340 – $108,555  per annum
  • Plus up to 14.5% superannuation (conditions apply)

Are you a skilled Projects Officer with a passion for landscaping and a knack for project management? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! Parks and Natural Environment is currently in search of a dedicated Projects Officer – Landscaping to join our dynamic team.

Your Role: As a Projects Officer – Landscaping, you will be at the heart of our Capital Works programs, focusing on managing project scheduling, installation, and safe delivery. Your expertise will be instrumental in enhancing our cityscape through various projects, including park upgrades, playspaces, sporting and recreational infrastructure, and streetscapes.

Your covering letter will need to address the following key criteria:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, such as horticulture, environmental sciences, or equivalent competency and expertise.
  • Diploma in Contract Management or equivalent experience, showcasing your proficiency in managing landscape contracts.
  • Diploma in Project Management or equivalent experience, demonstrating your strong project management skills.
  • Experience with large-scale streetcape tree planting programs, park upgrade projects, playspace, sporting and park infrastructure procurement and installation.
