We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Resource Recovery Contracts Supervisor to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of waste management and resource recovery in our community.

What You Will Do:
As the Contracts Supervisor, you will coordinate and manage critical resource recovery contracts. You will ensure that services align with high standards, meeting the goals of the Resource Recovery Management Strategy. From overseeing kerbside collection and hazardous waste disposal to special projects, your work will help shape the future of waste management and recovery in our community. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve:

  • Administering resource recovery contracts, ensuring compliance with all service standards and legal requirements.
  • Managing service delivery across various waste management operations.
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders, including contractors, service providers, and the community.
  • Supporting the planning, implementation, and review of waste management strategies and projects.
  • Leading and guiding the contracts team to ensure safe and effective service delivery.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Tertiary qualifications in business, government, contracts, procurement or project management or equivalent workplace and industry experience.
  • Experience in administering contracts and or other significant service contracts.
  • Knowledge of the resource recovery industry, including best practice collection, recovery and disposal systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with a diverse range of clients and stakeholders.
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and sustainability.
