About the Role
Our Street and Beach Services team seeks an energetic team player who has a strong customer service approach and communication skills to deliver quality services to the community with a focus on environmental outcomes. The successful candidate will support the Supervisors Street and Beach Services to deliver the ongoing cleaning program of the city's streets, commercial areas and beaches. The sweeper operator will be directly responsible for maintaining high standards of service to the community, complaint management, customer service ensuring performance standards are achieved.
Proven experience within a similar role with experience in operating a number of sweeper models, together with knowledge of OHS legislative requirements will be necessary in this role. Weekend and public holiday work will be required on a roster basis. The candidates will be required to have a multi skill mindset being able to move between equipment operations and labouring roles.
