About the Opportunity

Council is seeking a skilled systems administrator to assist ensuring the stability, improvement and security of the Council infrastructure. You will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimising the performance of our company's IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations and supporting our employees in their day-to-day activities.

There will be opportunities to learn and grow with the role to become more skilled in various disciplines (Network/Server Administration, Storage and computer including Cloud and security) of the IT department.

What you need to Thrive

  • Experience in a System Administrator role, preferably in a similar environment.
  • Strong technical skills in managing and maintaining Windows systems, networks, and servers.
  • Proficient in using system administration tools, scripting languages, and monitoring/automation software.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve issues.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with technical and non-technical team members.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve shared goals.
  • Commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest technology trends and best practices in system administration.
