About the Opportunity

Glenelg Shire Council (GSC) is seeking a Team Leader Roads and Infrastructure Maintenance for our Heywood Depot. This role involves managing, supervising, and motivating team members, coordinating daily operations of construction and maintenance teams, and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently. Excellent communication skills and proactive problem-solving are essential. You will oversee maintenance activities to maintain high standards in infrastructure services.

  • A demonstrated history of being a strong communicator and collaborator.
  • Able to facilitate and assist in driving and embedding a positive staff culture.
  • A high level of computer literacy with experience in Excel and Word.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new programs and technology.
  • Strong understanding of service delivery skills, including effective communication, active listening, empathy.
  • Willingness to participate in after-hours/weekend work and/or being on-call as required.
