About the Job

There is an exciting opportunity with the Asset Operations Team for a Traffic Controller. The position involves installation of traffic control equipment and systems to assist with the coordination of traffic. While the position is primarily to manage the traffic requirements within the construction projects there will be times traffic management will be required for other duties as directed. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Undertake traffic management requirements as directed by the Team Leader or Traffic Control Supervisor.
  • Able to work in a team environment.
  • The ability to understand and install traffic management equipment as per set plans.

This is a permanent full-time position working 99 hours per fortnight, with a registered day off every second Friday.  

About you 

In order to succeed and thrive in this position, you must have:

  • Hold and maintain Basic Worksite Traffic Management Accreditation (BWTM) accreditation
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role in Traffic Control.
  • Willingness to work remotely or travel.

Benefits

Salary: $97,577.47 per annum (including overtime allowance)
