About the role:
The Director Corporate Services is a member of the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) in the Diamantina Shire Council and will play a critical role in managing the corporate services function for the business, developing a strategic vision to grow a range of enabling services within the Council.
The position oversees the functions of finance, procurement including stores, governance, grants management and technology. These functions are considered high priority for Council to enable it to achieve its strategic goals and future direction.
The Director of Corporate Services will lead the team to provide services in accordance with Council’s corporate and operational plans and contribute to the effective, efficient and economical stewardship of public resources.
