The Role
An exciting opportunity exists within our Infrastructure Services directorate for an Apprentice Fitter.
Council is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic person to undertake a Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (Fitting and/or Turning). This apprenticeship qualification has a nominal duration period of four (4) years. Continued employment beyond the four (4) year apprenticeship period is not guaranteed.
The apprenticeship will involve undertaking a variety of manual labour and small plant operation tasks including maintenance, repairs and installation on water sewerage mechanical infrastructure.
