Aquatic Program Officer - Ballarat Aquatic and Lifestyle Centre

Role Overview: 

Aquatic Program Officers (APOs) are crucial to the smooth and successful operation of the Learn to Swim program at the Ballarat Aquatic and Lifestyle Centre (BALC). They have a commitment to customer service, safety and the pursuit of excellence in the delivery of programs. 

The duties and skills of an APO include: 

• Overseeing lessons to ensure they are conducted to a high standard.
• A point of contact for parents, children and schools.
• Ensuring that all administrative tasks are completed.
• High level of customer service to patrons, students and fellow staff.  
• Maintaining a strong team culture.
• Be able to step in and teach in the pool as required either due to staff absence or to assist a teacher.  
• Be experienced and knowledgeable in the area of Learn to Swim  and/or Swim School programming.

We are currently recruiting for new part time APO who are available to work Saturday mornings 7:30am till 1:30pm. Other weekday shifts may be available.
