The role

The Business Transformation Program Coordinator plays a crucial role in assisting our Program and Project Leads in the development and implementation of innovative projects. You will be responsible for project reporting and governance meeting pack while contributing to the resolution of issues and effective planning and monitoring activities. This exciting role is perfect for someone looking to support the Program Manager in ensuring that our governance standards are met while engaging with multiple projects across our Business Transformation Program.

We’re looking for a proactive, detail-oriented, and driven individual who blends exceptional organisational skills with a deep understanding of project management. You’ll excel in stakeholder engagement and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced setting where teamwork and integrity are key.

What you'll bring

  • A tertiary qualification or accreditation in Project Management or related field and relevant experience.
  • Proven ability to support program and project planning with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Strong familiarity with the project management lifecycle and hands-on experience with status reporting and monitoring.
  • Outstanding stakeholder engagement skills, fostering constructive, productive relationships.

Salary: Commencing salary circa $83,000 p.a. plus superannuation. 

Location: This position will be based at our Administration Centre in Yalawanyi Ganya at 2 Biripi Way, Taree. You may also be required to be based from other Council sites across the MidCoast Council region.

Tenure: 18 months fixed term, full time.

Closing date: Sunday 17 November 2024 at 11.30 pm.
