How you’ll make a difference
Victoria Daly Regional Council is looking for a full-time Role CDP Regional Activity Coordinator based in Katherine, NT.
This position is responsible for ensuring a sustainable model of the Community Development Program
More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist the CDP Regional Manager with the Management of the CDP contract.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPI’s) for each operational site and ensure contractual compliance.
- Collate documentary evidence as required in the Performance Period Review (PPR).
- Ensure all tracking records are maintained and securely stored with participant training.
- Monitor and manage subcontractor performance.
- Ensure that all workers (including contractors, sub-contractors and labour hire employees are made aware of and make use of hazard and incident reporting systems.
- Promote the achievement of targets that are consistent with projected income and expenditure to sustain financially viable contracts.
- Set targets for individuals that achieve contractual outcomes and obligations.

Experience and Knowledge Requirements
- Experience in the employment services sector in remote areas.
- Ability to travel to all sites to support staff.
- Demonstrated organisational skills to coordinate and balance tasks efficiently in a team environment to achieve key performance indicators and operational targets.
- Ability to develop positive, collaborative working relationships with a range of stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience of cultural awareness and issues affecting people in remote Indigenous communities and the ability to effectivity and sensitively communicate.
Other Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline (desirable) or previous experience (essential).
- Criminal History Check (recent within 3 months)
- A current Working with Children’s Card.
