Working in a team environment, you will undertake maintenance of footpath and kerbing within the City, with particular attention to concreting works.

You enjoy working outdoors and possess the ability to work autonomously and in a team. With previous experience in the maintenance of concrete footpaths and concrete finishing, you understand the importance of maintaining workplace health and safety standards and are committed to completing all tasks to a high standard.

A current and valid ‘MR’ class driver’s licence is essential for this role, along with possession of the Construction Induction Training (White Card).

To be considered for this role, you must address the following selection criteria as part of your online application;

  1. Experience with preparation of concrete base including setting wood forms and positioning steel, measure and pour concrete, finish concrete, remove wooden forms and backfill, clean site and spread loam.
  2. Sound problem solving skills, including the ability to work without supervision in a team environment.
  3. Knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety procedures.

This position offers a gross weekly wage of $1,403 which incorporates all allowances and penalty rates, and:

  • 11.5% superannuation with the option to co-contribute up to a further 5%
