The Role

Working within our newly formed Major Projects and Portfolio Management unit, you will:

• Provide influential, credible and strategic advice to third party entities such as Development Victoria, delivering capital projects on behalf of the City of Greater Bendigo
• Coordinate relationships with key organisations such as to ensure effective delivery of major capital upgrades
• Provide influential oversight to ensure effective management and delivery of key corporate projects and programs
• Provide oversight and coordination of capital projects and programs including managing relationships with funding bodies, grant acquittals and financial reporting

 This role is a parental leave backfill, with a end date of September 2025.

About You

To be successful in this varied position, you will have:

• Highly developed project management and change management skills
• Excellent relationship building and stakeholder engagement skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in team leadership and development
• Formal qualifications in Project Management, Engineering, Asset Management or Business

A satisfactory police records check is required for this position.
