Full TimeThe MacDonnell region is located in the centre of Australia. Covering 270,000sq km and with an estimated population approaching 7,000, it has a unique beauty with picturesque water holes, magnificent flora and fauna, red desert sands and rugged mountain ranges.
As the Essential Services Officer, you will be responsible for facilitating the safe and continuous supply of power, water and sewerage services, whilst ensuring compliance with legislation and standards. All technical training will be provided on site.
The successful candidate will ideally hold a current C Class drivers Licence, a current White Card and a 4WD Certificate. It is preferable that candidates demonstrate sound communication skills and have an ability to work independently. The successful candidate will also be motivated to actively problem solve in the role as well as have the ability to upskill and mentor team members to increase local ownership of the service.
