Council has an exciting opportunity for a proactive and driven Procurement Officer, that is looking for a challenging and satisfying role that supports staff and key stakeholders.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Procurement Officer assists with the coordination of Council’s tendering and contract processes to meet internal customer requirements, in accordance with the Local Government Act 1993 and the Local Government (General) Regulation 2021. The role provides procurement support and advice in relation to quotations, tenders and procurement management on goods and services that are to be delivered to Council by external service providers.
The position reports to the Strategic Procurement and Contracts Manager and is fast paced with a dynamic work environment which positively contributes to our people and community.
