Full Time Fixed Term Position - 12 month

Band 6 - Salary Range $95,073 to $103,531 per annum + 11.5% Super + ADO

The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated individual to join the Facility Maintenance Team as an Infrastructure Project officer. 

Reporting to the Program Lead Facility Maintenance, you will deliver and document a broad range of minor-medium capital works projects including building renewals, minor refurbishments, upgrades while providing input into the development of policy and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Using Council's Project Management Framework, manage the successful delivery of programmed and other minor capital works projects.
  • Support the program leader in providing input to reviews of current and planning for future programs subject to regulations and policies.
  • Use standardised processes, templates and project management systems to prepare project briefs, scope of works, specifications, contract documents, tender and quotation requests.
  • Contribute to the development and continual improvement of project management systems, processes, standardised templates and policies.

About you
 

To be successful in this role you will have the following:

  • Tertiary qualification with some relevant experience in Project Management, building construction, maintenance, or allied Engineering or other specialist discipline; or Lessor qualification/s with substantial relevant experience in Project Management, Building construction, maintenance, or other specialist discipline.
  • Experience working in a multi-disciplined team to achieve set objectives, specifically in the fields of project management, construction, maintenance, and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience with project planning, implementation, and management of project activity at those sites that continue to deliver critical Council services to the Community.
  • Current valid Victorian Driver’s Licence.
