We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Arborist to join our Arboricultural Services Team!

What You Will Do:

As an Arborist, you will play a vital role in the development and maintenance of our Tree Management Program. You will work closely with a talented and passionate team to ensure the trees across our community are protected, well-maintained, and thriving. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has a strong technical understanding of arboriculture, and is committed to supporting the long-term health of our urban forests.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Possess a Diploma in Arboriculture (AQF Level 5) or higher (Level 5 or higher in associated disciplines may also be considered). Arborists with an AQF Level 3 in Arboriculture and relevant experience described below, as well as willingness for further training, are also encouraged to apply.
  • Tree Risk Assessment qualifications, e.g. TRAQ, QTRA, VALID or the ability to obtain.
  • Current C Class Drivers Licence to independently drive between business locations to meet operational needs.
  • Experience in developing and coordinating tree management programs.
  • Experience in the use of MS Word, Excel, Access database and GIS systems. Experience in Traffic Control and roadwork signage in accordance with MUTCD.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of facility stakeholders, individuals, organisations and departments.
