The role

An exciting opportunity has opened as a Learning & Development Officer. In this role, you will be responsible for the delivery of L&D training programs relating to technological and digital capability.
You will support our people with the skills and knowledge to effectively use Council's systems, applications and software and support the administration of Council's Learning 
Management System (LMS).

This permanent full-time position is your opportunity to thrive in a dynamic, people-focused space.

Duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Facilitate digital and ICT related learning programs as required.
  • Consult and collaborate with stakeholders to successfully deliver blended learning solutions for organisational wide systems, new software and technologies.
  • Support the assessment and needs analysis of Council's Digital Learning capabilities.
  • Administer and maintain Council's LMS. 
  • Manage digital/ICT related L&D projects as required.

You will have:

  • Relevant experience in Learning and Development, Information Technology, or other related discipline and/or relevant Tertiary qualifications.
  • Certificate IV Training and Assessment or equivalent industry experience.
  • Current C Class drivers’ licence.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing, delivering and evaluating digital and ICT related blended learning programs within a multi-disciplinary organisation.
  • Experience in working with Learning Management Systems (LMS).

The salary range for this opportunity starts at $80,293 (Grade F, Step 1) + 11.5% super. Salary may be negotiable dependent on skills and experience.
