About the Job

There is an exciting opportunity with the Esperance Home Care Team for a Meal Service Supervisor. This position coordinates and oversee the Esperance Home Care meal service. Providing leadership, support and direction to meal service staff and volunteers. Experience in preparing and cooking meals in a commercial work environment as well as knowledge of safe food service practices would be essential. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Coordination of the Esperance Home Care Meal Service producing fresh meals 5 days per week.
• Maintain a financially sound Meal Service programme.
• Liaise and coordinate supply and delivery of goods with suppliers ensuring they comply with the requirements of the Esperance Home Care Food Safety Program.
• Plan and prepare menus that conform to food safety compliance and nutritional guidelines for vulnerable community members. 

This is a Permanent Part-Time position, working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday 6.30am to 2.00pm

About you 

In order to succeed and thrive in this position, you must have:

• Qualifications relevant to the hospitality industry such as Food Safety Supervision Skill Set and/or demonstrated experience in coordinating a food service.
• Experience in the supervision of staff.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to client service delivery and the ability to work cooperatively to meet client requirements.

Benefits

Hourly Rate: $36.79 per hour worked.
