Municipal Ranger

Circular Head Council is seeking to appoint a full-time Municipal Ranger.

Reporting to the Manager Planning and Regulatory Services, the Municipal Ranger supports a range of compliance functions within the Compliance and Regulatory Services team which forms part of the Infrastructure and Development Services directorate.

The position will foster, and where necessary enforce, adherence to compliance requirements and compliance programs throughout the Circular Head Municipal Area.  Such compliance will relate to various legislation and statutory requirements.

You will need:

• A current manual driver’s licence.
• An understanding of investigative processes and principles within a government environment.
• The ability to interpret and apply relevant legislation, regulations etc. in a regulatory environment.
• An aptitude and confidence to deal with animals, predominantly dogs.
