Road Construction Supervisor

Flinders Shire Council is seeking suitably skilled and experienced candidates for the role of Road Construction Supervisor.

The Road Construction Supervisor is responsible for developing and implementing road construction work plans across Flinders Shire while leading and mentoring a team to deliver on Councils Strategic and Operational Objectives.

As a representative of Council, demonstrated professionalism and a commitment to a high level of service and continuous improvement in the best interest of Council and the Community are essential.

The position is classified as a Level XX under the Queensland Local Government Industry (Stream A) Award – State 2017.

The annual salary range for this position is $86,314 - $117,910 gross per annum depending on experience and qualifications.
This is a permanent full-time position. The standard hours of work are 6.00am – 3.30pm (38 hours a week), working a 9-day fortnight. (i.e. one day a fortnight is a paid day off).

The successful candidate may be required to camp out and work a different roster when projects require it, which can include but not guarantee Overtime hours (e.g. 6.00am – 6.30pm).
