Resource Recovery Officer – Merriwa & Cassilis
Permanent Part-Time (20 hours per week)
The Role:
Council is currently seeking a Resource Recovery Officer to join the Sustainability team.
This role will assist in the safe and efficient operation of Council’s Waste Management Facilities, provide a high level of customer service and undertake general facility operation and maintenance duties.

- Salary range of $1064.90 to $1192.70 per 38 hour week + 11.5% super + operational allowances and the opportunity for salary progression

What we need from you:
The successful candidate will ideally have a Certificate III in Waste Management, have previous experience in a similar role and have the ability to work cooperatively as part of a team and independently as required. They will also have experience in the operation and maintenance of hand tools and minor mechanical equipment as well as the ability to provide excellent customer service.
