This role is within the Street Cleaning Unit of the Waste & Street Cleaning Team and is responsible for operating various plant including Street Litter Compactors, Medium Rigid Trucks as well as carrying out manual cleaning using hand tools including shovels, rakes, leaf blowers and brush cutters.

This position works to a 9-day fortnight and can be required to work rostered weekend overtime and public holidays.

The commencement salary for this role is Band 2 - $68,576 per annum inclusive of any applicable allowances plus statutory superannuation. There are opportunities to undertake different functions which will attract additional allowances from $34.70 - $37.49 per hour. There is also an opportunity to earn additional dollars through guaranteed overtime from $52.05 to $74.98 per hour. We are recruiting now and expect this position to commence in January 2025.
