About the Job
An excellent opportunity exists for a Technical Officer to work
as part of the Asset Planning and Development team.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Manage asset information for classes including roads,
pathways, drainage, parks and reserves, buildings, plant, other
assets and infrastructure as required.
- Collect, assess, record, maintain and analyse asset data
including condition, location, performance, value, costs and
expenditure.
- Use and application of Asset Management Systems including
NAMS, RAMM or similar.
- Use of integrated Graphical Information Systems (GIS)
including QGIS and ESRI or similar.
- Modelling of data to establish whole of life costs and
works programs.
- Application of Asset Management principles based on the
IPWEA framework, relevant standards, regulations and statutory
guidelines.
- Development of Asset Management plans.
This is a permanent full time position.
About you
In order to succeed and thrive in this position, you must
have:
- Tertiary qualifications in an appropriate discipline; or
equivalent relevant industry experience.
- Understanding of lifecycle asset management principles and
techniques.
- Sound understanding of legislation and regulations that
impact on asset management.
- Demonstrated problem solving, investigative and analytical
skills.
- Sound working knowledge of computer-based information
systems, including Asset Management and Geographic Information
Systems including NAMS, RAMM, ESRI or similar.
- Good understanding of current asset management
practices.
Benefits
Salary: $78,397.00 per annum, plus
superannuation
