Help us provide a warm and welcoming library experience for the community as a Library Assistant.
We have multiple roles available within our library team (Full and Part Time), where you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service in a contemporary library setting to local residents and visitors.
Your duties will include operating the circulation desk through rostered shifts, including some weekends.
Maintaining the appearance of the collection, book displays, our library’s digital resources, and responding to customer enquiries. As well as assisting the team with cataloguing and accessioning library materials, promotions, events, and the delivery of a variety of programs and activities.

You are an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual with a genuine passion for customer service. You excel in engaging with customers, providing them with a positive and enriching library experience. Your excellent communication and problem-solving skills enable you to address enquiries effectively and efficiently. You are eager to learn new systems and technologies to enhance library services and improve customer interactions.
Your ability to work both independently and as part of a team, combined with your enthusiasm for learning and growth, makes you an ideal candidate for this role.
You will bring a positive attitude and an enthusiastic approach to customer engagement as well as a readiness to tackle challenges.
