About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Administration Officer to join our Children Services Team within our newly established Pre-School Service. Within this position you will work across all administration functions of the Pre-School, to collaboratively ensure high quality early childhood education and care is provided to all families.

The successful applicant will demonstrate their competency for the position by meeting the following essential criteria:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business Administration and/or extensive relevant work experience in a Children’s Services environment
  • Current and valid Working with Children Check, National Police Check and Child Protection Certificate or ability to complete course
  • Demonstrated communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers, building strong working relationships
  • Demonstrated understanding of and ability to apply accounting principles and legislation relevant to Children’s Services environment
  • Experience in developing and maintaining databases, record keeping and accounting (including invoicing and the reconciliation of financial statements)
