How you’ll make a difference

Victoria Daly Regional Council is looking for a full-time CDP Womens Regional Activity Coordinator based in Katherine, NT. 

This position is responsible for ensuring a sustainable model of the Community Development Program

More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assist the CDP Regional Manager with the Management of the CDP contract.
  • Oversee allocated operational sites to ensure sites operate smoothly and targets are met.
  • Monitor and oversee the key performance indicators (KPI’s) for operational sites and ensure contractual compliance.
  • Ensure all tracking records are maintained and securely stored with participant training.
  • Monitor and manage subcontractor performance.
  • Set targets for individuals that achieve contractual outcomes and obligations.
  • Monitor progress against individual development and training plans for each staff member.

Additionally, you will join with the following skills and background:

Experience and Knowledge Requirements

  • Experience in the employment services sector in remote areas.
  • Ability to travel to all sites to support staff.
  • Demonstrated organisational skills to coordinate and balance tasks efficiently in a team environment to achieve key performance indicators and operational targets.
  • Ability to develop positive, collaborative working relationships with a range of stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience of cultural awareness and issues affecting people in remote Indigenous communities and the ability to effectivity and sensitively communicate.

Other Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline (desirable) or previous experience (essential).
  • Criminal History Check (recent within 3 months)
  • A current Working with Children’s Card.
  • A current Drivers License.
  • A Current First Aid Certificate
  • Must have a “My GovID”
