As our Club Development Officer, you’ll play a vital role in strengthening community connections and supporting the growth of local clubs and sporting organisations. Through the Go Clubs Program, you will work alongside internal and external stakeholders to deliver capacity-building initiatives, provide strategic advice, and help local organisations navigate Council processes.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in working with community organisations, particularly in a not-for-profit or sport and recreation setting.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills to manage stakeholder relationships and resolve disputes.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to research and analyse industry trends to provide evidence-based advice that informs policy, strategy, and program development.
  • A passion for community development, with a focus on capacity building and fostering collaboration.
