About the role

Join the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder as a Community Development Officer! We’re seeking a proactive individual to lead and support initiatives aimed at strengthening our community, with a special focus on the growth of local clubs, associations and community groups.

Duties

Key responsibilities include:

Drive community engagement and deliver programs in collaboration with local clubs and associations.

  • Champion our 2023-2026 Club Development Plan, focusing on sustainability, governance, and community connection.
  • Coordinate consultations and maintain up-to-date records for community and recreational groups.
  • Collaborate across teams to achieve strategic goals and enhance community impact.

Who we are Looking for:

  • To be considered for this position, you will need:
  • Experience in community development, sports, or recreation sectors.
  • Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
  • Current Working with Children Check, National Police Clearance, and a WA "C" Class driver's license.
