About the Role

Community Engagement role in a fun team, serving a vibrant multicultural community. Provide leadership and advice to teams consulting on projects and initiatives across Council.

This is a leadership position with access to Executives and engagement with teams across Council. Bring your knowledge of the IAP2 spectrum to lift capability across Council. We need to go the extra mile to ensure we consult authentically, listening to those who aren’t digitally connected, don’t read English or are rarely reached.

About You

You’ll ideally have experience in community consultations within government, on a wide variety of projects, programs and issues. You’ll be great at cultivating relationships across all departments, and providing advice and support to people who are expert in their fields. You’ll have great writing skills, and ideally some expertise in survey design. Experience as an admin of an engagement platform such as Social Pinpoint, Bang the Drum or Engage.Vic will be highly regarded.

Experience in digital communications will be very highly regarded.
