City of Ballarat Libraries and Lifelong Learning team provides responsive customer, information and learning services that meet the diverse needs of the community in line with Council values, strategic directions and community needs.   

We are looking for passionate people to provide high-quality services to our diverse community in the following roles: 

  • Casual Officer

In this role you will provide excellent customer service to our community, provide library operations and circulation supportand assist with library programs and activities including one-on-one technology help and children’s, youth and adult programs. 

These casual positions do not have regular hours and will include a mixture of pre-planned shifts and unplanned replacement shifts.

Successful applicants will need to have some availability for early morning contact to work unplanned shifts.
