What you will do

  • Inspire and mentor a diverse team of professionals, promoting collaboration, innovation, and professional growth.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies that support long-term sustainability and align with organisational priorities.
  • Oversee integrated planning and performance initiatives, ensuring alignment between strategy and measurable results
  • Lead the development of innovative solutions to enhance revenue collection and customer engagement.
  • Optimise procurement processes to maximise value, strengthen supplier relationships, and achieve cost savings.
  • Provide detailed financial and performance reports to support informed decision-making across the organisation.

What you'll bring/what we are looking for

We are seeking a results-oriented leader with a passion for financial and strategic excellence. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A tertiary and/or post graduate qualifications in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related discipline.
  • A professional accounting qualification (CPA or CFA preferred)
  • A proven track record in leading financial strategies, performance planning, and operational optimisation.
  • Strong expertise in financial management, procurement, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and analytical skills to navigate complex challenges.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and leadership abilities to inspire and develop high-performing teams.
  • A commitment to innovation, accountability, and delivering community-focused results.

Pre-employment requirements

  • Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC) (Previously known as a police check)
  • Current Victorian Drivers Licence
  • Psychometric Assessment
