Reporting to the Manager People & Culture, the Risk and Assurance Coordinator will lead the Risk Management, Internal Audit, Insurance, and Business Continuity functions at Banyule City Council. This pivotal role provides expert advice to the Executive Management Team (EMT), Senior Management, and key business areas, ensuring a culture of proactive risk management and assurance across the organisation.
This is a great opportunity to lead and develop a dedicated Risk and Assurance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
You’ll play a crucial role in shaping the risk management and assurance landscape of Banyule City Council, directly influencing organisational risk management and compliance. With a diverse portfolio of responsibilities, you’ll engage in a variety of tasks, from policy development to managing Council’s insurance renewal, providing you with a dynamic and fulfilling work experience.
