About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated administration Support Officer to join our Prosecutions Team. The primary responsibilities of this role include assisting with Council Prosecutions with efficiency and sensitivity.

You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Prosecutions Team, adhering to regulations and Council policies. 
additionally administrative support will ensure the department functions effectively. If you are detailed-orientated , customer focussed and have an eye for detail, we encourage you to apply.

What you’ll deliver

  • Assist Council Prosecutor with prosecutions in Court
  • Assist and maintain council prosecution database
  • Preparation and review of court documents
  • Assist with the recording and administration of court files.
  • Attend to telephone and personal enquiries and provide sound and accurate advice to solicitors and members of the public

About You

What you’ll bring

  • Demonstrated skills and experience commensurate with the requirements of the role.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders both written and verbal
  • Proven experience working in a high volume administrative role that requires effective time management and attention to detail.
  • Excellent MS office skills including experience in database management,
  • Willingness to undergo preemployment background checks including National criminal history check, working with children check
  • A curious collaborative and inclusive community mindset.

You may be required to undertake practical testing, work preference profiling / psychometric testing, functional capacity assessment (physical) or aptitude testing.
