Are you passionate about aquatic safety and facility management? We are seeking a dedicated Aquatic Facility Supervisor to oversee the Tennant Creek Swimming Pool and the Children’s Splash Pads in Elliott and Ali Curung. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for promoting safe aquatic activities, managing facility operations, and ensuring that all facilities are well-maintained and compliant with relevant legislation.
The Essentials
Operational experience with swimming pool plant rooms and chlorine gas systems.
Proven skills in aquatic program planning and delivery.
High level knowledge and experience in the management and the operation of aquatic recreation facilities and services.
Working knowledge of the provisions of the Health Act, Regulations, and Local Laws applying to the maintenance and operation of public swimming pools (e.g.: hazardous chemicals).
Proven high level of administrative and financial management skills.
Experience in using personal computers with Microsoft Windows based software.
Availability to reasonably work after hours and weekends for effective business operations.
Availability to work school holiday periods for effective business operations.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
A current Senior First Aid Certificate, Lifeguard Certificate and CPR Certificate from a recognised training organisation.
A current National Police Criminal History Check (within the last 3 months).
A current Northern Territory Working with Children’s Clearance (Ochre Card).
A current Driver’s Licence.

The Finer Details
Full-Time position paying at Level 6 of the Barkly Regional Council Enterprise Agreement 2023.
Annual Salary of $74,486.70 ($2,864.87 gross per fortnight).
Tennant Creek Zone Allowance of $1.89 per ordinary hour.
11.5% Superannuation.
Annual Leave of 6 weeks paid with 17.5% Leave Loading.
