Permanent Full-Time (38 hours per week) – 9 day fortnight 

The role:

Council is currently seeking highly motivated traded qualified plumber to supervise and undertake the plumbing maintenance and construction works of Council’s building assets across the Shire ensuring all works are carried out in a safe, timely, efficient and effective manner whilst promoting the image of Council as efficient and courteous. The successful candidate will lead a team to assist the Water Distribution team to undertake water and sewer system maintenance, construction and repair, and to complete water and sewer programs to a high standard, efficiently, effectively and safely using best practice principles to satisfy all statutory requirements.

What’s on Offer:

-$1336.50 – $1496.90 per 38 hour week + 11.5 % super + Rostered on-call allowance + potential overtime and the opportunity for salary progression
-Christmas break shut down 
-A true 38 hour working week, Monday – Friday working week with the opportunity to access overtime if desired
-9 day fortnight (that means every second weekend is a long weekend!)

What we need from you:

Our ideal candidate will have a Plumbing Trade qualification (from TAFE oor equivalent) with relevant plumbing experience. Hands on leadership experience with Good time management skills and ability to establish team and individual work priorities.  Plumbing Licence would be an advantage for the role.
