What you need to know...
About the role
Clarence Valley Council is seeking applications from a suitably qualified and experienced person to fill the role of Technical Officer (Floodplain). You will be working in our Water Cycle Team assisting our Floodplain Operations staff in the areas of Capital Works, programmed maintenance, environmental and WHS compliance along with grant applications. This position will also assist in the preparation of section budgets and implementing floodplain management plans.
We are looking for someone who has suitable experience in the Floodplain industry with a broad knowledge of asset maintenance and construction, tendering and procurement along with project management skills.
