Trainee Environmental Health Officer – Part Time

  • Salary: $49,646 - $68,293 per annum pro-rata
  • 15.2 hours per week
  • Fixed term to 31 December 2025
  • Plus up to 14.5% superannuation (conditions apply)

Are you currently studying Environmental Health and want to gain “hands on” experience while completing your degree? This opportunity will see you working with Environmental Health Officers, assisting in providing an educational, statutory, advisory, monitoring and enforcement service to the community on environmental health issues.

You must have an ability to converse with people on all levels, be adaptable and develop empathy, trust and rapport with internal and external customers. In addition, you must have commenced a degree in Environmental Health and enjoy the physical demands associated with midge larvae sampling.
