Permanent Part-Time (10 hours per week)
The role:
Council is currently seeking a Youth Engagement Officer to coordinate programs for all Council Youth Centres. The position will play a vital role within the Youth Services team through planning and implementing annual community and leadership youth activities. The role will also be responsible for providing early intervention services to young people and families as directed.

What we need from you:
If you have a passion for engaging youth, creating social and recreational programmes and possess a Certificate IV in Youth Work (or equivalent) or be able to obtain, this role is for you! You must also hold a current working with children clearance and have experience in a similar role.
Our ideal candidate will be confident in creating and maintaining relationships with youth and their families, and will have excellent time management, communication and organisation skills. This position is a Mandatory Reporter role.
