MERRIWA
Permanent Part-Time (8 hours per week)

The role:
Council is currently seeking a Youth Assistant to be based in our Merriwa Youth Centre to contribute to the day-to-day operations of Council’s Youth Services programs and provide quality experiences for young people.  The role will be responsible for supervising and interacting with young people during social and recreational programs and events organised by Council’s Youth Services Team.

What we need from you:
All applicants should have a demonstrated ability to establish positive rapport with young people and their families and possess a genuine interest in working with young people. A current working with children clearance is essential. The ability to develop a positive rapport with young people and their families is key to your success in this role.
