What You’ll Do:

As an Apprentice Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, you’ll:

 Work alongside seasoned mechanics to perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs
 Gain hands-on experience with engines, transmissions, braking systems, and more
 Learn to use state-of-the-art tools and diagnostic equipment
 Assist in ensuring vehicles are safe, reliable, and roadworthy
 Attend technical training sessions at TAFE to enhance your knowledge and skills
 Rotate to an external mechanic in your 4th year to gain additional skills

 A genuine passion for mechanics and problem-solving
 Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work
 A team player with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn
 Basic mechanical knowledge or experience (preferred but not essential)
 A valid driver’s licence or willingness to obtain one
