North Sydney Council administers the North Sydney local government area on Sydney’s picturesque lower North Shore. Our 400 employees look after 77,000 residents spread across 10 square kilometres of land on the foreshores of Sydney Harbour providing spectacular harbour views, beautiful parklands and a bustling CBD.

The role 

The Business Support and Performance Coordinator plays a pivotal role in providing high-level support and data analysis to the Director and various business units within the Open Spaces and Infrastructure Directorate. This position involves maintaining a comprehensive overview of operations, ensuring that performance aligns with adopted Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), project plans, resourcing, and budgetary constraints.

The coordinator is responsible for collecting, reporting, and analysing data to identify trends and issues, which will guide continuous improvement initiatives and refine processes and strategies to enhance overall performance.  

Through converting data insights into actionable recommendations, the coordinator will support the Division in achieving its operational objectives.      

What we're looking for 

We’re seeking a candidate with 5 years of experience in data analysis or project coordination, particularly with a background working with senior management across a diverse range of organisations. The ideal applicant will possess advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications and communications, and be capable of working independently to meet deadlines. Additionally, we are looking for someone who can contribute to driving organisational change through effective collaboration.

Salary from $87,273 to $104,210 per annum +  $1,000 pa Transport allowance + 11.5% superannuation  

35 hours per week with access to flexi time
