ABOUT THE ROLE

Liverpool City Council is seeking a dynamic and organised Circular Economy Coordinator to oversee the operation of our Mattress Recycling Facility at the Rose Street Depot. This role is pivotal in driving our sustainability initiatives, focusing on the efficient recycling of mattresses and contributing to the broader circular economy objectives of the city.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Facilitate the achievement of objectives and streamline operations by providing administrative, operational, and project support services within the Circular Economy Centre.
  • Conduct comprehensive research and offer expert advice, information, and services within the domain of expertise.
  • Deliver exemplary customer service by promptly addressing inquiries and requests from both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Analyse and propose actionable process improvements exclusively within the scope of services to Manager Circular Economy within Operations Directorate.
  • Contribute to the establishment, periodic review, and maintenance of localised work practices. This includes drafting and revising documents to ensure they align with industry best practices.
  • Collaborate in managing and maintaining operational systems and processes within the defined service scope.
  • Provide targeted support services as needed, which may include training, conducting audits, financial planning and management, records management, and mentoring.

ABOUT YOU

Liverpool council are looking for a problem solver that makes safety a priority. Training will be provided by the manufacturer of equipment.
