About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to take on a new position in the newly created Governance & Risk Team. In this role you will be responsible for leading the Governance and Risk Team, the Coordinator will implement and monitor Risk Management and Governance Framework to ensure a collaborative approach to compliance. They will drive proactive and innovative approaches in the Governance and Risk space that continuously improves Councils risk culture. The Coordinator Governance and Risk will facilitate a cooperative approach to develop and monitor a schedule of service reviews across Council and provide advice on interpretation of legislation and policy to Council Officers.

    Q1. Explain a time when you were responsible for successfully leading a team to implement an organisational strategy or series of goals. What did you do? What was the result? 
    Q2. Provide a detailed example of your experience in supporting multiple stakeholders in identifying and managing enterprise risks, or a time when you reviewed or developed a risk management process and Coordinated the implementation of that process in collaboration with multiple stakeholders.  
    Q3. Can you provide examples of your experience in Developing new policies, procedures or frameworks to support legislative compliance within an organisation.

This position is located at Council's Grafton office, however, this may change should business needs identify other work locations to be more appropriate to deliver our services in the future.
