Job Overview

Are you a leader passionate about community safety, dynamic operations, and law enforcement? The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder invites you to take on the exciting role of Coordinator Ranger Services, where you will protect and enhance our vibrant community. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support our Ranger team, ensuring top-notch service delivery in community safety and compliance.
• Oversee daily operations, from managing the Animal Management Facility to supervising statutory enforcement activities.
• Develop policies, handle community concerns, and collaborate with stakeholders to create a safer environment.
• Champion culture change initiatives and continuously improve operational standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Significant leadership experience in law enforcement or local government.
• Expertise in interpreting and enforcing legislation, including Local Laws.
• A knack for fostering collaboration, resolving conflicts, and delivering excellent customer service.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• A proven track record in budgeting, team management, and implementing compliance standards.
• Qualifications in Regulatory Officer Compliance and/or relevant law enforcement training.
