The Role

In this new role, you will design and lead the delivery of a new Creative City program with a programmatic focus on activating the city centre to enliven public space.

You will work with community,  business groups and creatives to plan city centre activities to increase participation, civic engagement and sense of place. You will also produce programs, events, activations and place-making initiatives that position Greater Bendigo as a vibrant Creative City.

About You

To be successful in this varied position, you will have experience working within the Arts and Events sector with experience in producing traditional and contemporary programs that are delivered on time and within budget, high level skills and understanding of event planning and delivery and creative place-making. You will also have experience with technology, staging and other technical requirements to deliver events in a variety of settings, excellent communication and organisational skills and enjoy working in a team environment.

A satisfactory police records check and working with children check is required for this position.
